Well Christmas has been and gone and we are once again in a New Year! My new years resolutions (were crafting is concerned) is to make something crafty for every day of the year! I've used A Day for Daises digistamp for this card, it's called "skirt of flowers" and I just love it, I have tried to keep the card really clean looking, not adding lots embelishments that might take away from the image. I thought I'd show a couple of pictures of the two topiary trees I've made using the the new Marianne Design dies to cut each flower. I used a cool glue gun to attach them to a styrofoam ball. It took a while but I just love the outcome - think I will add some ribbon to the stem and the pots to finish them off though. I might add another photo later.

Well it is that time again, another challenge card for the Cardmadfairy's Digi Day Challenge. I attended a PMC class on Saturday, run by Emma Gordon of Bluebell Design Studio. It was fabulous, PMC (precious metal clay) totally rocks in my book. I am putting this card in for the Quirky Crafts fortnightly challenge, I know it is not a great picture but I lost the original picture I took and had to quickly take this in poor light. I always do a few cards for the docrafts cancer research fundraising drive. You make a A6 size card and put it, with an envelope into one of their cello bags (you can pick them up in craft shops) and either hand it in to one of their (cancer research) shops or send it to there office (all the info is on the back of the cello bags. Here is one quick one I made this morning.

I thought I would have a quick blog as I wanted to show this card, I love the colours and the papers. The orginal idea comes from cardmaking inspriations magazine, that is where I got the template for the boot, in fact it was only the original card on the cover that tempeted me into buying the mag. Here are a couple of simple cards made using images purchased from Card Mad Fairy she has some lovely ones on her site. The backgrounds are done by brayering ink onto a cuttlebug folder before running it through the machine. The sentiment stamps are by cuddly buddly and Woodware and I used a nestibilitie die to cut out he shapes.

I just love this digistamp from Mo's Digital Pencil it's called "Soaking up the joy. It reminds me of my son, he often had that look on his face as a young child, the look of "isn't life wonderful!!!". I've coloured it with copic pens, the sentiment is one from hero arts I think - anyway hope you like it.

Haven't posted for absolutely ages- won't bore you with the why. On the good side have been doing demo's for craft groups and found that I really enjoy it - so am going to see if I can make more of doing that. Yes, another one, but very simple and quick. The papers are DCWV Citrus Stack and the image is one from Pccrafter. I made the inside match the outside (just because I could) Ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment, printed up and cut out with a wizard tag die.

Here is a really quick card using a Pink Petticoat digistamp and Basic grey colour me silly papers. I know these papers are not "in" now, but colourwise I think they rock! They are so vibrant just like the new Lime Rickey ones

I've done this card for a challenge on the Quirky Crafts Forum it is a sketch which is pretty much like my card (funny that). The papers used are Basic Grey lime rickey, Stamps by paperartsy, embossing done with a cuttlebug folder and the sentiment "For a man's home is his castle" was printed on the computer and has one of those see through thingys on it(truly can't remember what they are called.

I've made this card to fit in with the PCP sat sketch challenge as well as it is a card for a friend. The image is a new one from Pink Petticoat, one of the mini downloads. The paper is Making Memories "Sabrina" which I bought on my holiday in Florida. I've also used my nestabilities to cut out the shapes and the ribbon is from my stash.

I bought the Papercraft Inspirations magazine the other day because it had lots of mens cards in it and I always struggle with mens cards, I hoped it would give me some Ideas. I started to make this at a craft club I have just started to go to and then finished it the same evening - must admit it was rather rushed and there are things I would do differnetly, but still, I think it is kind of cool.
